I agree the trikot used in the fake one in the silly debate although correct in its weave is more similar to that found in more modern later 40s early 50s and used also in much later faked tunics. It is actually in Allsace and the owner does have one very fine Officers visor. Thank you for sharing these wonderful images.

Am glad that my odd picture gallery finds your favor.
I saw the man's Sonderanfertigung cap and made a thread of it here, since the cap is very handsome. Thanks for the kind aid, colleague Magwa7. Happy foetid woolens to you, in turn.

F-B, you have the most amazing collection, wonderful stuff.

To the tunic that started this thread, I concur with Ade etc, a nice repro, here are some additional photos I took of the tunic fairly recently,
which I think will assist with nailing the lid closed on it...

    A few more pix....

To be fair on the person that now has this tunic, he is after comments, and is starting to believe that the eagle (amongst other this) is not right....

I guess while I am posting, these shoulder straps are at the same source as the W-SS tunic above, and there are some here that believe these
straps are correct, I am not one of those believers......
