In its pure form, the black tricot is a deep, deep black with no trace of anthracite, nor of this dorky weave as seen in the center image above. Pfui.

I agree the trikot used in the fake one in the silly debate although correct in its weave is more similar to that found in more modern later 40s early 50s and used also in much later faked tunics. It is actually in Allsace and the owner does have one very fine Officers visor. Thank you for sharing these wonderful images.
