SS Visor hat

I have an offer to buy this SS visor hat, which is got today for hand inspection. I have made a decission for myself to buy or not, but I do not want to share it before I will get your opinion guys.
So, here is phisical description:
As there no any visual traces of restoring or reattaching the parts, even a moth damages under the sweatband. The artificial aged Deschler " mustache " scull with assimetrical 52 markings on the backside. As same with eagle. Blacklight glowing seam, where the piping is attached to the black band...

The insignia is fake. I would be very suspect about the authenticity of this hat.

As I've told before, Bob. That is a mustashed scull, a well known fake. The item is without it's character for sure. For me is the glowing thread inside of the seam says all. Include feeling- negative result

yes the insignia are the M1/52 fake's.

I don't know much about cloth items. But I do know that Glowing Thread makes it a NO GO.

Agreed - the M1/52 is probably the most common fake of this item, pretty clear here.
