Well said. I have seen what I think is a Danish Germanische SS cap, and, in fact, it is or was a Wille/Hannover cap of the 1939 or 1940 species with the Danish badge on the cap cover.

SS-Vlaanderen = a marvellous subject. When writing my volume 4 for the
series "Headgear of Hitler's Germany" I was able to include some nice
photographs. Most came from my old friend Jan Vincx from Belgium. Here
is shown page 175 as well as 177 where also the worn field-cap with big swastika
was shown.

In the book Belgium was covered with the pages 172 through 177.
