Thank you. I actually believe there should be a special thread dedicated to macro details of authentic items. I think it would be an invaluable resource to learn about the construction materials and techniques and would surely increase the chances to identify genuine objects. That said, I encourage collectors to get into macro photography and build a photo database.

No. They will be dead by now of course. But i am sure someone out there have the skills to do a very good copy. Anyway i am sure you know much better than i do what to show and not to show in this field.
