Totenkopf cuff band

Hello everyone,

I'm back today with a Totenkopf cuff band. It has 7 border strands, the weaving looks similar to others I saw on the forums, the skull wires also look similar to the SS collar tab wires I posted a few days ago. What are your thoughts?

Is this skull version more rare than the "Totenkopf" text version?

Thank you. I actually believe there should be a special thread dedicated to macro details of authentic items. I think it would be an invaluable resource to learn about the construction materials and techniques and would surely increase the chances to identify genuine objects. That said, I encourage collectors to get into macro photography and build a photo database.

Unfortunately, this cufftitle is a reproduction. It has the tell-tale "houndstooth" edge to the weave where it meets the aluminum border. The skull is also "off"...

This " houndsteeth " effect can be well seen in the lower edge of this reproduction CT ( which happens to be a TK as well , but others exist of course ) ..
