C'mon dear collectors ! that cap is not a "monster" she has many things to tell...
I don't know anything about field caps.
What are the things it has to tell? Almighty Seba?
Look the stitching.. insignas.. and the color interior...
To me the washed out look seems forced - it is too even for me. There is no sweat marks on the brow, no rubbing of the fibres and no staining around the vent grommets. This is just my feeling ( and for a stripped cap, the price is more than $2000 Australian!!!! )

What is it about the interior color friend?
I see what you mean about 2 different skull stitching lines. It is not noticeable at a glance but when you concentrate on the photo you see it.
and last, the interior color...for a real wss cap ?
