Upcoming auction - SS hats

Some examples coming up in auction held by Hermann Historica on the 26th of October.

The Officers black cap has fake insignia before anyone asks.

The Sonder-Anfertigung NCO cap is very nice and the Officers cloth peaked cap is exceptional rare but not in the best condition unfortunately.

I'm not affiliated with this auction company at all, just thought some of you might want to have a crack at these examples.

Watch out for the buyers commission though, it's something like 20% plus surcharge for credit cards.

Thanks. Very fine material of great interest. The grey officer's cap is extraordinary and remarkable. I have not seen a Wille black officer's cap of this type before, but it is a nice piece.
As ever, the little remnants of the past eventuate in odd ways.

The sad thing about the black officer's cap is then having to contend with the ding bat "scull" collectors to get the right badges; though more are for sale especially in the distressed North American region of collectors, where I have seen more for sale than not, but at the price of a real officer's cap not so long ago....

We rejoice in seeing some real, authentic and interesting items rather than what has become the norm now on this site and, of course, on the others.
Those of you serious about this stuff, download the image of the cap with the cloth peak, since it is a very rare and refined thing.
