For the first time, I found an SA tag not unlike the famous or infamous RFSS tag. Are there other examples of this SA tag, or such
tags in the regalia of other branches of the NSDAP?

This is what I had not seen or had not made an impact on me.
The issue of regulations in uniforms goes back to the foundation of the Prussian army, if not before, and was always a theme of very interesting articles in UM.
Here is another one, also black background en yellow lettering:
