The insignia are Originals.
Will be interestng to hear whether or not the tunic itself is too.
There seem to have been a slew of not-so-real ones lately.
Thank you for you help!!

I think that the tunic looks okay too but it's a Heer pattern tunic with a 6 button front ,as opposed to the SS 5 button, so it has more of a chance of being an unissued army tunic with proper SS insignia added.
I replied on another post recently on these and whilst they were used by the SS, there use was limited and I have only managed to find 3 original photos of troops wearing this pattern of tunic.
If it was me, I would be looking at the right chest to double check that it had no eagle mark on the chest or other insignia marks on the collar and I would not expect this to sell for as much as an issue SS tunic.
I would be interested in the stamps inside the tunic as they may give you more info as to its origins. I think that it is probably am M43 tunic with altered pockets.
If you like the tunic, can get it at a good price, and, more importantly, can accept that it is not the correct SS schnitt this could be the one for you.
Please note also that price is important because all of the issues that I have mentioned will no doubt be raised by a dealer, if/when you ever decide to sell.
I apologise if my reply is slightly negative, but I am merely trying to provide you with additional information on the item that you have posted.
Agreed the liner cut is a heer, as a depot markings, but hooks support holes are only two, seems strange due now itäs not a SS tunic and not a heer tunic, may be someone just tryed to convert the heer to tunic into SS... Also 6 buttons

This is one of those tunics that I never quite know why someone would buy it, as said earlier very occaisionally you see a period photo of a heer tunic used by the SS. But here we have a heer tunic (at best) with almost every possible bit of insignia and awards possible including cuff title of course. Believable, credible? To me no.
My advice would be buy a genuine SS tunic as with many (most) probably replaced insignia but least it will all be SS, if you buy this in a years time, or less, will you still be happy with it?
Thanks for the advice! I will pass on it! Especially at $10,000!! LOL
Good decision.
If I had 10 K for my hobby, I would buy an original SS tunic with 5 buttons and 2 belt loops.
I think a tunic like this coast no more than 4000 USD.
1200 for the tunic and the rest for its insignia.
1200 for the tabs.
300 for the eagle
1200 for the ciff titlle.
The rest for the chervon and badges.
I do not know am I correct, but i think this is the real price.
Cheers
George
Converted heer tunic did exist. Here you can clearly see one on this picture..
