The insignia looks fake to me. I might be wrong but don't think so. The "Bamberger" label looks like the ones Bundeswehr uses. The V stamp across it might indicate it's an item sold as surplus. Again, i might be wrong. Let's see.

This cap is so obviously fake , I find it hard to believe Weitze would have tried to sell it as real , or that anyone would have paid $ 602,- for it .
Fake insignia , fantasy stamp , even the BW-label still in it ( ! ) , I feel noone should have been fooled by this one - or maybe in the 1970's ..?!
COA even states " Panzerdivision " for a fieldgrey cap - I think that COA is either VERY old , or plain fake as well ..
