    Original.

My only caveat with these is possible post war Czech Army use.

    Cheers, Ade.

How it was used post war is not that important to me so long as it is an original WW2 piece. It supposedly came from a vet who brought it home from Normandy to use in the winter, but moved to Florida shortly after his return and so he just packed it away.

    Sounds fine.

These were actually made in Czechoslovakia during the war using Italian pattern camo. Early post war the Czechs continued to make them to re-equipe their new Army. These later production ones will often have Czech ink stamps in them and Czech Army buttons.

These have also been reproduced on a small scale in more recent years.

    Cheers, Ade.

I am interested in getting one of these, so I would like to learn as much as I can about spotting a WW2 produced example.

Apart from the ink stamps and buttons, does anything else give the Czech post WW2 made ones away? Also does anyone have any pics of the Czech type buttons and ink stamps found on the post war ones?

    Many thanks

Not sure about immediate post war markings but most Czech stuff had a crossed swords ink stamp Click image for larger version.

Thanks Gunny, I'll keep an eye for a ink stamp as so. Cheers
