Waffen ss panzer pink piped shoulder boards

Hello dear fellow collectors,
a while ago I received these shoulder boards, I whent searching and found one at Hanna'sReich, compared it and the stitching looks the same, the materials used seem good, but there is the problem, the pink pipes are loose from the shoulder boards, what should I do with them, keep them like this, or try to repair them and if so, whas it those days done by stitching by hand, or by machine, can someone help me with this ?
Many thanks in advance, it is a privilige to see how driven and passionate all the collectors here are.

They need to be machine sewn in place.

Agree, they look wrong, the reinforcing on the tongues and the button holes etc...
