waffen ss sash comments please!

Hi Ewan, I can tell you it is not a Waffen SS item. If original and this is an IF, it will be from the Allgemeine SS.

I would imagine this would be a funeral sash, which would have gone around a wreath of flowers presented on behalf of the Regt.

This would appear to be made of painted silk. Original were made like this. However, I cannot tell you if this is a period peice or not. Perhaps if I had it in hand I would venture an opinion.

hi thanks for the info there ade it is also only half a sash aswell i didnt think it looked good atall plus $400 for a ss one also a red flag eah?

Price is a very subject issue. Like all of this stuff we collect, it is only worth what someone is willing to pay

Would I pay £400? No, probably not.

400 dollars ade which i thought would have been ok if a period ss item but is still £244 dont think it would be something i would buy for that £!!
