Hi all! I'm looking at yet another Tunic, only this one is quite a bit more expensive than the others I've been buying lately ($4,000 asking price, pretty firm). It's an SS Tunic (obviously) with armband, cuff title, and ribbon bar; although the devices appear to be missing from the bar. Also, you can see in the photos some mold showing on the fabric (light colored splotches). How much (if at all) does this devalue the tunic, and how would you go about removing the mold? It doesn't appear to have damaged the fabric.
What do you experts think about this one? Also, what do you think about his price ($4,000)? Is this underpriced, overpriced, or about on par with what you guys are seeing out there?

Well, it's not an SS pattern tunic, the insignia is extremely shabby, especially the cuff title that is also sewn on too low, doesn't match the collar tab and would not have been worn with a black uniform. Many pictures of authentic tunics can be found on the forum, so you can see the difference for yourself.

Hi Dzyner, this one is truly bad.
The interior is totally incorrect. (It should not have belt ramp supports nor field dressing pockets) The outside is not much better to be honest. Pockets are wrong as is the cut of the back. This is a converted West German tunic.
We have many fine detailed photos of some superb originals on the forum posted by "FB" and others.
Price is far too low. Expect to pay three times that for an original.
