What is This?? SS Watch Fob??

Article about: Hi, can someone tell me what this is and what it says on it? The seller said it was found in KONNIGSBERG. Is this an SS item? Is it a rare item? Maybe a watch fob, or to wear from the neck?

Hi Steve, not an SS item. I cannot make out the inscription on the back? But it looks like a name followed by something Battl....

Could be Imperial or even student related.

    Cheers, Ade.

Thanks Ade, I thought it was an interesting ground find item. Just wondered what it was. I did not buy it, it sold for $60. Too much for this I think.

I think it is from a students association. I cannot read all, but "W.S.1911" stands for WinterSemester 1911 - German expression for "winter term" at university. We have two terms (summer - winter) per year, not tree like in the english/american system. This classification was already in use 1911 (I googled it).

"Skull and Bones" or other free-masonic relation may be?
