What are these worth?

Article about: Hi guys, I have a question. Can anyone tell me what these pieces are worth? I am especially interested in the ID card and ribbon of the leibstandarte-ss man. Thank you. Greetings, Johan

Note the prongs to the skull. Originals were never made like this.

    Cheers, Ade.

Sadly Johan it seems all are bad and I hope you are asking before buying them rather than after.

Indeed. The ID card featuring the divisional insigne is a very silly fake or, more precisely, a fantasy piece.

As usual, the fakers didn't even get their spelling right ("geboten" instead of "gebeten"), nor the most basic facts: The divisional insigne (which has no business being on any ID document anyway) is of the design used from ca. mid-1943 onwards, even though the document claims to be from 1940 and the Leibstandarte - or any other division, for that matter - had no "32nd Company".

The cufftitle is bad as well. This type of ribbed material was not used for period cufftitles.

I would want to see some good clear close ups of the SS ring before I said good or bad!
Here is a couple of photos of my good, well worn SS ring.

Enough of the date can be seen to indicate it's bogus. It appears to read 6 or 8.10.42, which can't be correct as no ring was ever marked for the month of October (10).

The likelyhood of this ring being original is slim as the other
items are all fakes too. Stranger things have happened,
    but it doesn't look good.

Repros and fakes have their own value, and what is shown
is probably around $160 or so, I'd guess.........
    Regards,

    Steve.
