But it's always a good idea to verify the items on this forum before purchase. Even the best sites sometimes mistakenly take in fakes. And remember, good things rarely come cheap. All you can do is keep your eye out for good deals.

My advise to you is DO NOT try to collect SS with that mindset.
You will regret that decision later.
Start off with items that are not as highly faked; Heer or Luftwaffe.
Then when you feel comfortable in what the items of the period are like,
then, and only then, move along into SS.

Cheap and SS usually equals Fake, it's the most Faked of all collectables.
A real minefield with easy 90% fakes unless your willing to pay big money.

Check the Forum Sponsors, but vet the stuff first.
Also Regimentals UK cares some nice stuff, he also does a YouTube show that is informative and interesting.
But as stated SS is a painful thing to collect, there are many other elite military organizations in the TR, that is much cheaper.
The more time you spend here looking at old posts the better, it shows the ratio of bad to good SS items on the market.
