Help me identify helmet please

    Default Help me identify helmet please

    Hi everyone from Hungary,

    I would like you to help me to identify a M42 German helmet.
    I've got a M42 helmet,it is a slightly rusty,crack-proof in a nice condition.
    It has ckl66 manufacture and size code on it. (5406, cKL66)
    The mark however is wrong.The "k" is carved in it in another direction than usual.
    Has somebody ever seen like this?

    Fero, it might be advisable for you to start another thread and not piggyback off this one, that way more comments can be offered to each individual subject, and also you will need much better and clearer photos

    +1 on bigger pics, thumbnails are no good. Welcome to the forum by the way.
    If anyone would like a custom piece of artwork for your war room please let me know! I am currently doing A2 sized sketches of a subject of your choice. Either copy an existing picture or create a scene based on your brief. Details in the 'other militaria' section of the classifieds.

    I also have a deac Mk1 (1941) Enfield Bren gun & Transit case for sale, mint condition. Also looking for trade offers. UK only I'm afraid.

    Looking for:

    1) A court mounted EKII
    2) M42 of no collector value, bare steel if possible. Liner and liner bands not needed.
