    Default luftwaffe chicken wire camo??

    hi guys i feel this is a fake helmet with fake oxidization fake bird etc am i correct is the liner good and chinstrap bad?

    what alarm bells are ringing to you my son as i only stated a few and want someone else to say it aswell!! red raw rust is another red flag plus the oxidization is on the helmet but yet the wire doesnt touch it am i correct

    i know nothing in comparison to a lot of these guys on this subject aon german helmets and only have a couple in my collection as yet.I am still looking for a complete example with decal but this to me hope i dont offend looks wrong There is something about the chinstrap the bright rust and the marking aroung the chicken wire looks overdone the decal grrrr i dont know hope im right or just made myself look a total richard head!!!!!!!

    totally agree with you pretty sure the strap is a repro, rust is too RED? and definition on the wear below the wire is made up and very poorly at that!!!

    Hi Guys, someone really over did the fake oxidation on this one!

    The shell might be an original which someone very agressivly cleaned: the paint does look original in places. I think they then tried to age it again, hence the red rust etc, then added the fake wire basket and the fake oxidation. The liner looks original.
