    Default M40 KM Single Decal ET#66 Lot#201

Hi all This is the first thread Iv'e posted here and thought I would share this one. M40 KM ET66 Lot 201. There is evidence of a tricolor decal being on the right side. In hand it is much easier to see this. I posted this one on GHW awhile back some people there don't think this helmet had a tricolor decal wartime. Opinions Welcome
    Regards,

Welcome to the forum. It looks like it's a nice helmet, don't know about the national shield though. I see what you mean and it definitely looks like there was something there, but I doubt it.

This is a really fine helmet, you would be hard pressed to find a nicer one. The outline looks recent to me, if there is one at all.

Thanks guys It's a mystery on the tricolor for now. So far the only other et 201 helmet I've seen was an SS. Maybe another KM will pop up someday in this lot#.

A fine helmet, I don't think it had a tricolour either with that lot number.

The liner is made by Werner Zahn I believe.
If anyone would like a custom piece of artwork for your war room please let me know! I am currently doing A2 sized sketches of a subject of your choice. Either copy an existing picture or create a scene based on your brief. Details in the 'other militaria' section of the classifieds.

I also have a deac Mk1 (1941) Enfield Bren gun & Transit case for sale, mint condition. Also looking for trade offers. UK only I'm afraid.

I was curious about the liner. There are also some other stamped markings inside the liner. I will add a photo of this later.

That's a nice looking helmet there, Will. I would love to find a KM for my collection, and one like that would definitely be a centerpiece!
    Welcome to the forum.

Nice helmet....looks more like a toned Heer decal rather than KM.
