If you clean you'll loose collectors value....

Thanks Dave - problem is at the barbie after a few "sherbets" we'll all end up wearing them and goosestepping around the backyard .... then the neighbours will KNOW I'm round the twist!

That's a lovely wall. How many strange looks did you get from your neighbors when you did this? If you really want to freak them out, wear one while you cut the grass and do yard work. That will really throw them off!
    Looking for:

    1) A court mounted EKII
    2) M42 of no collector value, bare steel if possible. Liner and liner bands not needed.

    Hi Lars,
This was my original post back in April when I got the helmet. It was one of our members, SCOUT who confirmed the HD story and rather than repeat his words here it is. http://www.warrelics.eu/forum/steel-...er-2-a-170880/
I'm thinking it was a defiance thing for the braver among them??

Thanks a lot. Sure seems plausible. I only remember seeing the resistance in Danish helmets and could not imagine they would ever put a German lid on

    Nice looking M42 Luftwaffe

Oh thanks Bill - I must have been writing when you commented ...... see above also

Hmm...you really shouldn't keep 'em in a damp place...a couple of them seem to have a touch of Rust starting...
