Painted around the decal? Thats a great looking helmet, nice decal. I love the national color shield peeking out from under the paint. as if it never wanted to be painted over.
    Looking for:

    1) A court mounted EKII
    2) M42 of no collector value, bare steel if possible. Liner and liner bands not needed.

    A nice honest example
As a Ex servicemen with PTSD, I see this quote in a different context

"Enjoy the war, as the peace will be unbearable"

Is this technically a "re-issue" or a field repaint in observance of the requirement? With sand and coarse brush strokes etc.... this would lead me to believe the soldat dutifully did the mod himself.
I would define a "re-issue" as being factory done.

    Cheers, Dan
