Opinion on double decal heer transitional helmet

im new to collecting,but having been in the clasdic car restoration kind of helps out a bit .seen more old tin than fancy paint jobs.
judge me if im wrong pls..first..the heer decal is round...i can see it on my android.its also white underneath the chipping..also seam as if they over applied some form of laquer..looks messy..the party shield looks as if painted on and over aged..that my opinion n i thought i give..you only learn by trying

Okay, back to the helmet, I don't like the decal.
I don't know how to put words on it though, but I would have that back in my mind if I would have bought it, it doesn't look right.
Though I've never had a WW1 helmet but we'll see if someone can give you a better opinion than the rest of us
