Thanks Dave mowing the lawn can be a wee bit of a challenge though with over a 100 acres of farm property there is lots of room to ride are horses or go down to are own little lake and drift in the boat and fish for rainbow trout

Always on the look out for WW II Canadian Helmets and Cam nets to add to my collection.

Found a Canadian Mk II Medics Helmet and yes I know they are about as rare as hens teeth !!!!!

Well, the helmet arrived a few days ago, and I was SO upset
at how it looked all covered with wild graffiti, that I stripped
and repainted it. I decided to go with Normandy camo,
which I 'distressed' to give it some age. I also added
a liner and an old chinstrap.

    It looks much better now.........

The weather was a bit brighter here today than it has been for
a while, so I thought it would be a good opportunity to
take the lid out for some pics.

It's nowhere near as nice out doors this time of year as most
of the other places that she's been lately - *sigh* We're
still waiting for spring to arrive.

Snapped a few shots down by the lake - which looks
across to an island - and some of the vehicles
    at our local military museum.

Just need to put my forum name onto it.........
