Got this a couple of months back. Just noticed the stamping on the inside with the date. Kind of cool thin little foam inside shield. I don't think it was ever worn. How does that work? Doug

Is that a variation on the liner system, it seems to incorporate the three pad directly into the leather band without the hair pockets being present

Looks like a transition peice to me. Not really the three pad deal but kinda. All the pads are connected by a continous strip of leather. There are hair pads under there just with nothing in them. I'm not really a helmet guy. Doug

Nice helmet, very much like my droop bill L/S that I posted a while back with the same commercial liner which I think has been designated an M26. Could you post more shots of the exterior? Jim G.
