Re: 2 grandpas shed helmets
£460 for the 2. The other camo one posted as a link went for £370, thats £830 collectors have shelled out that won't be available to purchase something else with. Once this kind of money has been paid out its unlikely that the new owners will beable to admit the origins of these helmets so they are passed on to someone else as original, more disillusioned collectors result.
As for the ebay police they don't activily scan the site for items to be removed they only respond if someone reports the item to them. Think about that, there are sad people in the world who spend their lives doing just this. Alledgedly this ebay ban is the result of a French court case, always the French, where an auction site not dis-similar to ebay was fined £80000 on each of three TR items that were advertised for sale, £240000. Thats why ebay don't want TR items on their site, its not any kind of moral objection, they still sell soviet items, who argueably were responsible for more deaths than the TR, but financial. You can still buy TR items from French web sites, but usually have to pass through a guard page notifying you of the contents, strange that they don't get fined, but they are probably not trying to muscle in on French telecoms territory, alledgedly.
