    Got a chance to get this helmet cheap and just want to make 100% sure it's ww2 era,to me it looks good but want to get your guys opinion before I get it,if it is ww2 era then I am going to take the liner out and use it for my other m34 I posted here, below are the pics , plmk

    Yes it is WW2 helmet.
    Finding this type of helmet with decals is rare,it is a late war made shell.

    Thanks Chris, I am planing on using the liner for this helmet I have(pics below),and put the old liner in this and resale it, I can get it for $100

    I'll bite the rim split? agree with Leon leave be,, otherwise its a parts job.

    Eric, look closely at the vent holes you see it

    Incorrectly placed vent hole ?

    I'd be inclined to leave it be as well. For one, is it even the
    same size - it appears to be a very small lid.........
