Appears to be an M40 with original size 58 liner/strap, the decal-remnant is LW?...But I can't tell if that's camo or glare with the photos provided...
Overall I'd say it's a keeper, depending on price of course...Just my 2 cents though...others are sure to disagree, lol

Inclined to agree with Glenn. I don't see a decal remnant though. It seems to be a lightly camouflage painted example. I think we need better photos. NH

Looks like a nice average helmet that someone spritzed with camo to up the selling price...but that's just my opinion, of course...

3 colour camo but not easy to comment from the pics. Odd decal, not luft as it appears too straight and seems to have something above it, NSKK? though what do I know.

To me the "wing" is not a period insignia. It looks like a kid's attempt to draw a bird on the helmet. The shell and liner are good, but I am not so sure about the paint. I would.t pay too much for this one at all. Jim G.
