Looking at this helmet for sale. No decals and looks like an exterior repaint at some time. Inside looks good to me, with correct stitching on the liner. Any thoughts please? Sorry, but this is all I have at the moment for pics.

Pics are really small, but the paint is definitely not original.

those helmets were reissued and reused after 1918 so it could be any central European nation repaint

Hi Al, from those images I really would not like to say if it is even an original helmet that has been re-painted. It could be a heap of Chinese junk! If those are the best images the seller will give you walk away. Leon.
