Re: Battle damaged M35
Split pins dont seem to match paint but it seems all GIs like to get a shot or two in on anything Nazi.

Re: Battle damaged M35
The paint is just worn off the split pins. And as I said above, the holes are NOT from bullets, they are from shrapnel.

Re: Battle damaged M35
I'm not sure about that decal at all. Any chance of a better close up? The bullet holes are a bit suspect to me as well.

Re: Battle damaged M35
Guy's I really don't think that the holes are from bullets, in the photos I admit they do look like bullet holes but when you are looking at it in person the holes are not even close to being round.
But other than the holes what do you guys think?
I agree with Isle of Wighter on the decal but I was wondering if it could just be faded?

Re: Battle damaged M35
It looks more rubbed than faded and in many of the areas which would assist in it's identification !!

Re: Battle damaged M35
Used and abused but I don't see anything suspicious personally.
Has a good faded original decal.
