I know that I have always wondered what the fate was of a soldat who wore a helmet that has had battle damage inflicted to it. We see them in relic form and have thought yeah that guy bit the dust, But I found this pic and it shows that not all met their maker that day.

Based on bullet angle I am sure Deter's hair was parted nicely like this guy below. I also am sure he changed his adult diaper from the deposit made in the field like Han's in the the corner as well.

I'm thinking that guy has a small head and had the sting tied tight on that liner.
If not he sure has a permanent part in his hair
