Good People of the Forum.
I picked this up years ago. I have always assumed the paint to be modern. I know next to nothing about German cammo. It was bought as a repro because I thought the white 58/59 on the rear skirt was from a props department. It is stamped as far as I can tell ET68, and the one on the rear skirt is almost illegible. There are small specs of orange/red paint visible with a loupe above the right ear as you would wear it. It did not cost that much if I remember. The liner is a lot less orange than it appears in the photos, and has some sort of waxy substance applied to it.
Anyway, I would appreciate your thoughts.

Andy

Although its as messed with as possible, it still doesn't look half bad compared to some out there.... could be used as part of a display maybe, or stripped down re-painted in a way that appeals to you
I think I'll put it on the Bay with a clear and full description of what it actually is, somebody will want it.
