Camo I picked up at the fair

Hey guys , long time since I shared a helmet on this forum.
Here's a nice one I picked up last saturday.

SE64 Heer camo with a still nice decal , Original strap and all the dirt and grime a collector can wish for.

Now that is a really nice salty combat helmet, and to find it at the fair, great find!!! With the color on the helmet it looks at have come out the African Campaign? Or in that area... Maybe?

Africa is possible but more likely Italian front and/or Sicily.

Nice one. With just a little better storage over the years it would have been beautiful. Agree that Italy is a better bet from the color.

Still looking for my first "tropical" camo...one day!

A super find Frank, a lovely patina to that one and I agree that it is more likely to be a Mediterranean cammo, rather than North Africa. Leon.
