chin strap prices

I am looking for a chin strap for my m40 and was wanting info on what prices they are going for and does price depend on maker and year.

Agreed, more or less the same price as a whole liner a lot of the time.... Bonkers.

The prices are crazy for original straps. I fork out the bills because I like to be as historically accurate as I can. It's doesn't always work out. Nothing wrong with a repro if that's what you are happy with.
