In Classified - M40 Luftwaffe SD
Another Lid in the classified section that I have concerns about.
Will leave it open for the opinions of others in case I am wrong...
It is listed as an M40 Luftwaffe SD

The Luft eagle decal is heavily scrubbed with gives me pause. But will defer to others with more experience with decals.
Further the liner condition does not match the rest of the lid and to me appears to be a repro or best replaced

I agree with you on the liner (does not match condition of helmet). The decal is a tough one as it has been severely damaged or scrubbed on.
Too many question marks over this. I have pulled it.
