    Hi,

    I wouldn't suggest you to restore the leather linings by applying any product such oil, vaseline or any leather protection ointment. It won't do any good to the leather, if dug or dried, and it will become extremely dark in colour.
    I'd also not recommend any restoration on leather linings in good conditions for the same reason.

    So, I restore it with acid cleaning, but I will tell you to ask before cleaning...
