Combat Worn Double Decal Heer

A new arrival - an ET 64 double decal Heer, complete with a 1937 dated single band aluminum liner and matching maker marked 1937 dated chin strap. The wear on the decals and around the circumference of the helmet seems to me to be the result of a band of some sort - rubber, leather or wire - positioned for the attachment of foliage for camouflage purposes. It has a fair amount of its factory pea green paint, and the early ET font in the maker/size stamp. The lot number is a little hard to see, I think it is 3264. Not a mint example, but it screams combat to me. I hope you like it. Jim G.

Very sweet lid Jim the wear marks through the decals and around the lid are fantastic it does not get any better than that.
I have a soft spot for field worn items if this helmet could only talk
