Whato chap!! I would personally say that you have there a genuine police shell that has been so badly smashed it is a shame. If you can get it as cheap as chips go for it,but it looks like a well "washed"(scrubbed)lid to me so wait for a better one, Leon.

$250 sounds far too high to me, I'd wait for a better one... they're pretty common.

This helmet is not worth the trouble. Wait for a better example.

As the guys are saying, you would do better to leave this one and wait for a nice untouched helmet.
This one has many issues that detract from it's value as a collectable item.
