did you check this is an alu ring and is it reinforced ? Can't tell from your photos. Not liking it very much at this point.

Thank you for your reply. Yes it's reinforced, but about the material I am unsure, shouldn't all D-ring liners be of aluminium? What's unusual about this one is that it's too matte comparing to another original Alu liner produced by B&C Berlin.

Its an original liner. I suspect somebody bead blasted it to clean it up. The B&C liner shown, is in its natural 78 year old state.
