Dd army shell original?

GOT OFFERD THIS REALLY CHEAP THE PINS WER TOOK OUT TO BE SOLD SEPARATE FROM THE SHELL

SELLER HAS SINCE PUT THEM BACK IN IT HAS NO LINER OR CHINSTRAP!

THE PRICE IS SEEMS FAIR TO ME AT $175 IF GENUINE WHICH MADE ME WONDER ARE THE DECALS GOOD?

JUST GETTING SOME INTREST IN HELMETS ANY COMMENTS OR TIPS VERY WELCOME

I agree, definitely a reissue shell with reissue decal. Odd though, that one of the Decals seems to have been removed. At $175.00 you can't beat that!

The tri-colour was removed as per 1940 regulations. These were to be "scraped off" or removed. I have only have one with a scraped off tri-colour: an M16 tranny.
If you see the eagle decal scratched off and the national colours left on: that's a big no-no....stay away from those.

I would say a nice honest helmet, it has a reissue decal but that makes no odds to the shell. Most helmets have the swastika
scrapped off as it is illegal to have them in germany.
I would have it.
