Didn't had any time to make a good presentation of my latest TR helmet.
Always liked a gladiator, but wanted to wait for a "special" one to come by.
So I jumped on this one when it was presented.

This one deserves better pictures but I like what I see. These double decal gladiator helmets are hard to find and I would have jumped on this one as well. Nice pick up. Jim G.
Thanks Jim.
I know I should invest in a better camera, and stop buying this junk....
;-)
What better pic's would you like, please?
Hi, Stuka, if nothing else, some nice close ups of the decals and the maker stamping in the rear apron of the shell. From the current pictures these look like they are examples of a rarely encountered decal type usually seen on shells from a particular maker. These decals were discussed at length on GHW. Some were skeptical of their originality, but I am a believer, as are Al B. and Don Lust, 2 of the most knowledgeable collectors of civil helmets on earth. When I have a minute I will try to find that thread. Jim G.

Here are the decal views.
I'll be back with the maker's pic.

And the makers stamp;
Very nice Kris and the first I've seen of this type
Hi Kris, I found the thread at GHW, started by Chris Rivers. These are the decals that I thought they were, and the maker is the same - RL2-39/21. There are very few of these around. My compliments on a great helmet. Jim G.
Many thanks Jim.
