Dd luft - flea market find

Hello,
I picked up this DD Luft today.
Unfortunately it was denazified.
I posted it here in the past for opinions with poor photos that I had from my iphone.
The seller originally wanted $600 + for it.
Thanks to the people from this forum, I was told that price was too high and I did not buy it.
I go to this flea market almost weekly and the helmet kept showing up with different sellers.
After first seeing it, the helmet passed from dealer to dealer.
Today, toward the end of the day, I was able to negotiate a deal for this helmet for $450.00.
Any thoughts?

Right as rain. De-nazified, which some do not like, but frankly, it doesn't bother me. To me, it is an expression of the emotion of the vet that brought it back, and part of the history of the piece. The ink dome stamps are interesting, I haven't seen these types before, but they look right. A salty one, but I like it. Jim G.

Th denazification almost looks recent. Not bad for $450, still a DD and some nice dome stamps that, as Jim said, look good.

It looks nice! A nice lid with nice decals! The denazification doesn't detract from this one as it has a lot of character!

I usually do not post the price that I picked up an item for, but I wanted to show how the people from the forum helped me to not overpay.
And BTW, I just noticed that for some reason my initial post says I paid $0 for the helmet.
The price was $450.00.

I like it as well --- and the price seems just about right for a "denazified" example. Those savings will sure come in handy when donating to the forum that helped you out
