    Here is my most recent acquisition from a very good and close friend. It's a small EF60 Luftwaffe helmet that is in unissued condition. I don't think it ever had a chinstrap on it. The bale is tight between the shell and leather and is tucked down (as seen in the picture). The leather is still very soft. The decal has a beautiful yellow tone to it. I think the liner band is dated 1942 but it is hard to read.

    Thats very clean sarge ...I like it ( better if it was a 66 though )
    Its amazing that so many super clean example4s can be found after so many decades ......

    Sarge...I like looking at it again....and again...as noted, looks like it left the factory yesterday.

    (unlike Dan, I like the smaller lids...they have a nicer look to them for me, easier to fit more on the shelf and actually fit my head )

    Hi Sarge, that is a great looking helmet, I love the decal, a super tone to it, all in all a real beauty. I would never be able to get my "bulbous" melon into it, but I agree that the smaller helmets have a great shape to them. Leon.
