It has a very nice lacquered finish, and a brass colored decal as opposed to a silver type decal
Very, very nice. I’m having trouble working out the paint colour. Is that a very dark feldgrau?

It's a enamel overcoat, and is reflected the light. It's a dark blue scheme

I once had a gladiator Luftschutz (a double decal helmet with a Luft Adler and tri color!) that looked like it was dark green , very much like this one, but it was blue as well. It had a lacquer coat that changed color over the years.
I'm starting to let my helmets go. I'm not a collector of them . You had a very rare variation helmet2id.
For not collecting them you sure have some nice one's
