Article about: This is being sold as a factory mis-strike. ( a helmet that has torn in the forming process ) As a toolmaker I can say that this is true - the tear on the edge is indicative of what can happ

    One would have thought they would just return this to the smelter, especially considering how short thet were of metal during wartime.

    I wouldn't put this on my shelf, looks way too messy with the uneven edge and overall. I wouldn't buy anything that says "rare" four times in the title either..
