    Civic Police Model M34 square dip I believe, they were used by fire and police, most of the fire helmet versions had two elongated vents on top for the attachment of an aluminum shield and also had a leather neck flap attached to those tabs in the back, yours does not have the vents so most likely used by civic police, a very nice original used example.

    Agreed, looks a nice lightweight example used by Civic Police units.

    A nice complete double decaled Feuerschutzpolizei M34 I feel.
    The leather flap tabs look unused and may not have had a flap attached during it's use.
    Nice lid.
