    Hi guys,
I have seen another helmet and would appreciate your opinions. It's not an expensive item but as before I would like it to be the real thing.
Please see pics below - I apologise if the quality isn't good they are from the seller.

Thanks in advance for any info

First glance - looks OK. Need a better shot of the chin strap. Any idea of the markings? NH

From these photos I don't see any red flags.
It would be nice to see the markings as Neil has said.

Hi got this from the advert.

M42 single decal Luftwaffe helmet, shell size ET64 batch No. 1350. It has all its original paint remaining and the Eagle decal about 90%, it comeswith its original liner and chinstrap, the liner is a size 56 as you canclearly see on size stamp, a nice honest helmet.....

    Thankyou

    Andre

I think the helmet is fine and is in great shape...but I would like to hear from the decal experts here.

To me it looks like a standard 2nd pattern decal that is used on ET style helmets. However, it appears to be slightly misaligned given the white border sticking out all around the bottom of the wings, eagle, talons as well as the swastika. Misaligned decals are not uncommon. But as said, would love to hear from those with more experience if my analysis is correct.

    Regards,

    Michael

Looks fine. It would be a nice piece for any helmet collectors lot!

A fine M42 Luftwaffe helmet, I see no issues here myself. Leon.
