Ludicrously over priced. Apparently, the owner thinks that he has 2 treasures and will, doubtless, refuse to come down very much in price...A common problem with these "antique dealers" who only know bits and pieces about what they encounter...

Just my 2 cent but there's a nice m34 on Daves site ww2germanhelmets,com priced at $325..........
For what it's worth I consider the m34 mentioned on ww2germanhelmets.com to be in pretty lousy condition and overpriced for what it is --- that said, Dave's a good guy to deal with though but... of course, up to you. I'd rather go for a better condition one is all I'm saying.
Not much to add than hasn't already original helmets way over priced no doubt as they are common civil helments easily found. timothy
The seller is smoking something as far as pricing is concerned, make a reasonable offer and walk away if necessary.

John
I made an offer of 440 on the double decal and the seller accepted. I was willing to pay a premium given the condition.
At the end of the day it's your money and if you love it then good on you.
