Found two helmets at an antique store near me and I need an informed opinion

Ludicrously over priced. Apparently, the owner thinks that he has 2 treasures and will, doubtless, refuse to come down very much in price...A common problem with these "antique dealers" who only know bits and pieces about what they encounter...

Thanks for the recommendation - I really like the items on his site.. they are all reasonably priced and I don't have any doubts about their authenticity. I think I'll just order from him and save myself the grief of trying to deal with a local shop.

For what it's worth I consider the m34 mentioned on ww2germanhelmets.com to be in pretty lousy condition and overpriced for what it is --- that said, Dave's a good guy to deal with though but... of course, up to you. I'd rather go for a better condition one is all I'm saying.

The seller is smoking something as far as pricing is concerned, make a reasonable offer and walk away if necessary.

I made an offer of 440 on the double decal and the seller accepted. I was willing to pay a premium given the condition.
