Is this a genuine M42 ?

Hi all I was wondering on opinions on this M42 I think the liner is replacement . the guy selling it says the shell is original . any help greatly appreciated

Ummmmm if its a real shell that's been restored, I'd buy it for that reason only, but for less than 200.... If he is trying to fob it off as real, I wouldn't buy it just for that reason

If you can get a decent deal, I might go for it just based on the shell and it depends on wether the liner is original. Better pics are needed to decide that, IMO . Also, are there two helmets?

Hi dean yep I have posted a thread On my coat

He has not said that it is repainted or not . I don't know if he knows himself.He does say that the liners might be replacement . he said he bought it like this .

Hmm. Very clear images are needed to be sure, but my gut says this is a repaint. As for the coat, I will check out your thread on it. I love the leather jackets and I have one too!
