German Helmet

Any suggestions on where this helmet last saw service?

This was one of a quanity sold by Sabre Sales

in the UK about 15 years ago. Just about fits me but unfortunately not a large enough shell to take a correct liner in my size.

Eastern European - Latvia, Estonia, Czechoslovakia, etc.
Post war Civil/Fire Dept, etc.........

Hi,my lot numbers book says that ckl66 4280 was a no decal slate grey finnish that was possibly made in 1944? This obviously has had a post war re-fit.

I think Czech is the story which was given to me when I brought it.

Presumably with the last of the Finnish Helmerts being released there are no other counties holding large stocks?
